Artist History
Monte Amende and Toby Kane formed the five-piece group in September 1999 after the demise of Flood Romeo, a guitar-oriented pop band they played in from 1995-1999. Cooper was then rounded out by Tim Miller, bass; Mike Reeves, drums: and Carson Lee, vocals, guitar and auxiliary.
Carson Lee departed the band for college in Fall 2000. Tim Miller left in December of 2000. In early 2001, Lloyd Potter join as Lead Guitar, while Monte Amende migrated to bass. Soon after Drummer Mike Reeves was replaced by Mike Smith.
The 4 piece Cooper began studio recording their first CD in June of 2001, and anticipate its release in Winter 2002. |
