Artist History A former struggling "bar-rocker" from Lexington, Kentucky, Charlie Crowe decided to give Nashville a try when longtime friend and country superstar John Michael Montgomery needed a bandleader/guitarist for his '92-'93 tour. At the end of Montgomery's tour, Brooks and Dunn hired Crowe as their lead guitarist. CHARLIE'S GARAGE showcases Crowe's fiery guitar style that pays homage to his rock, blues, and country influences.
