Artist description
Bill Streett's music is an eclectic blend of ambient, techno, and general sonic tomfoolery. His debut album "Lure" is a whimsical peepshow of interweaving musical universes, a voyage into the hinterland of electronica. This self-desribed Erik Satie of techno creates music which poses more questions than answers. With "Lure," Streett wants to "create an album which is ice-cold serious, warm and fuzzy, jarring and sedative—all to be held in dialectical tension." A sound both retro and progressive, if a musician of the Gilded Age had the tools of creation of the Electronic Age, "Lure" would likely be the result. |
