Artist description
Aaron Munro is a Christian singer/songwriter for the band "Understated". On top of his full time duties with them he sporatically writes, records, and plays an earthy blend of acoustic folk and quirky-rock; inspired by the likes of Bob Dylan and the not so popular Michael Knott. He also plays with the folk-rock group 'Coffee'. "The music I write is a combination of the things I feel and experience and the things, I believe, God continues to teach me. I use whatever style seems to suite the storyline."

Artist History
Started writing in 1995. These songs were mainly experimental and poetry based. After a number of hometown-post-rock-garage bands, he formed the college-folk-rock group "Coffee" (along with his friend Garnet Fehr) in 1998. Coffee went from folk-rock to alterna-rock to modern-rock and back again. That band died September of 2001. The newest project is the Modern Rock group "Understated". Unlike Coffee, they're actually displaying great potential. |

Press Reviews
Kali Holloway - Listen.com - "Munro goes from cradling his acoustic guitar in his hands and plucking it gingerly to fiddling with knobs and searching for the right dance beat. This Alternative Christian Contemporary artist expresses his faith via any musical genre that catches his fancy." |
