    Press Reviews
"They may call themselves Three Quarter Hard, but this San Antonio band is standing fully erect, combining heavy riffs, melodic lyrics and soulful vocals into a thoroughly enjoyable sound. Glo Cox on lead vocals fronts the band. Her voice strikes a combination of the raw power of Janis Joplin and the melodic phrasings of Grace Slick, with plenty of soul and charisma thrown in. Danny Foster pounds his Pearl drums with abandon, but stays locked in with bassist Tommy T, forming an impressive rhythm section. Much of the lyrics Rehfeld writes seem to drip with anger. "My inspiration for those songs came from my ex-wife," Rehfeld said. "It was therapeutic for me." With lyrics like "All your promises are like rain/They drop so easily from your lips/With every word I feel the sting of the pain," you can see that Rehfeld has definitely lived his particular angst." taken from rockandroland on sanantonio360.com
