Artist description
Perhaps the best way to define the myriad of sounds coming from the stage at a given Wish show is simply not to. After all, if labeling music is to put limitations on it, then why bother? If we’re trying to follow the standard Wish sets with their music, then limitations are certainly not an option. |

Artist History
Wish is singer/guitarist Mark Mullane’s brainchild, and the result of his many years of musical experience and experimentation. When pressed, the band will give the definition thing a shot. Mullane says Wish’s music is "pop-rock with Latin, funk, and folk influences." Percussionist Jon Uman calls it "pop for the new millennium." Keyboardist Jared Lamenzo puts things in perspective saying, "It’s all about the groove."Mullane founded Wish in 1996 in New York City, where the band is still based. |
