Artist History It all started in 1995 with one member, KID DECEPTION, who was solo at the time. During these early years Deception was putting down tracks by himself, establishing his style and developing his skills. Two years later, Deception felt that his work wasn't good enough to hold a solo act together, so he went to his homies in the IBP(International boy Posse at the time) and asked if there was anybody in the group interested in flowing with him. The first to join (and sell out) was Kaona Ishiguro, aka K-Dogg. Together, Deception and the K-Dogg formed the group called the Z-soldiers and recorded the first hit single "Rolling Chillen Getting Good Loving and Kreeping". It was an instant hit, the Z-Soldiers were on a roll with this single and the future look bright for this group. Future Projects were in hand but due to the K-Dogg's inconsistency and inability to complete projects, the group slowly died. Soon K-Dogg was fired and Deception found himself, yet again, on a solo act. Deception resolved to put more intensity into the solo act; recording ballads such as "Its My time to Be Heard", and "Let me Know". But Deception still didn't feel that he was cutting it in the solo act. So, yet again, he tried to form a group. This time consulting with one of his good friends, G-Money. G gratefully accepted the offer to help out his bud and they recorded the legendary song, "Get your Groove On". This single was tight, but not tight enough for prime time. Deception didn't let this bother him one bit because he knew at that moment that G-Money was going to evolve into bigger and better things. He asked G-Money to do further future projects with him and G once again accepted; they began planning for the future... In the time of this planning another person caught Deception's keen eye for talent. After reading his 'Book of Poems', Deception felt that this guy's work should be put into music; his hard hitting words and topics would be great for the Rap Scene. So Deception asked the Upstart if he would join the group. After a little reassurance (and several benjamins), the Upstart joined the group. After that G-Money and Deception put together a production team called the Beat Mechanix and another member was hired on to the team: Dj Cyer. The Beat Mechanix specialized in making beats that were unheard of; a unique style of music which Deception dubbed "Energy Music" because the beats will energize the crowd no matter who is listening. After all that was settled and done it seemed that everything was all good, the only problem was that they still didn't have a name for the group... One day they were at a party just dancing and getting hella crazy. The DJ yelled out that the group was a bunch of Wildboyz, and it stuck. The Rest of the guys in the group thought the name was tight and that it fit. So there it goes, Wild Boyz and so they remain until this day.
