Artist History
Vast existence was formed in Sep. of 1998. Starting of with Dave on guitar,Chris on Bass, and Bobby on drums. After a short while we aquired our second guitar player Steve, and our singer Jake. After writing 3 songs and having numerous shitty practices, Steve decided to quit the band. This put our band on hault for a while, but as time went on we regrouped and started looking for another guitar player. After trying out many people we finally picked up Phil. Phil and Dave were a good combo together and started writing new songs. After writing 6 songs Dave decided that he wanted to sing so we picked up MIKE DELORA.... (MIKE DELORA IS THE SHITTIEST PERSON IN THE WORLD) At this point in time we were named NYV(nine year veteran). After practicing together for a while we played two shows and were looking forward to the future. After about a month we decided to kick MAGGOT DELORA out of the band. He did not fit well with the other members of the group and overall he is just a piece of shit. Anyways, Dave got back on guitar and all seems well. This is when we changed our name to Vast Existence. So it's about sep. 1999, a year after the original band formed. We book two shows in Oct., and what happens...........Phil goes to East Lansing, finds a job and decides to stay there leaving us high and dry for the shows.(PHIL IF YOU READ THIS NO HARD FEELINGS BRO)So we were back to where we began. I think that we are the most unlucky band in Michigan. So come out to our shows and support your local talent. |
