Artist History Len Lew was conceived in April of 1999 when Ryan (singer) and a friend from school had the idea to form a band that blended the melody and energy of punk with the heaviness and intensity of metal. While looking for the perfect members they ran into Erick (bassist) at a Mad Caddies show. Ryan knew Erick from another band in Cleveland and they formed their union. After a few months of writing songs, Ryan and Erick knew there was something still missing from the sound. Enter Gary (drums). He took their music to another level adding raw talent and intensity. After a year of playing shows, recording an EP, and a small tour of the Northeast. The band knew it was time to jump up yet another level. They felt the addition of another guitar would fill in the blanks. After a month of looking we found Matt. Matt had the perfect background...80's Metal and Punk! Soon after acquiring Matt we picked up Don Calascibetti, a close friend of the band. Him and Matt soon formed an unstoppable guitar duo. Erick decided to leave the band to pursue other goals. Immediately after Sam Gold joined the band.....and the story continues....
