Artist description
Officially formed in 1996, For The Dogs' music is usually described as a raw, tight,
driven style served open-faced with no strings or bulls**t attached. A mix
of powerfull vocals and bottomless guitars backed by a funk enraged rhythm
section. Influenced by big name acts ranging from the Red Hots, Janes, Pilots,
Tool, to Zeppelin, the Doors and James Brown. Yet they are quick to point
to local bands like Weedeeter, Surf the Black, Dim Tribe, Benign, and Fractional
Importance for being inspirational. |
