    Artist History
Faster Than Eddie is an outstanding pop-punk trio who has preformed to thousands over the years. Their “edgy” style has led them to become very well known across Canada and the United States. With their catchy lyrics and their strong, uplifting melodies, they are sure to keep audiences of all kinds off their feet and entertained. The band formed in December 1997 and started off as a group of three young guys who were looking to have fun and establish themselves in the music scene. After numerous shows all over Southern Ontario, the band knew that they wanted to pursue this as more than just a hobby. It was time to get serious and allow even more people to hear their electrifying sound. In the summer of 1998, the band recorded their first three-song demo tape in their practice space. It wasn’t the greatest quality, however it would allow the band to have something for others to listen to outside of the shows. Approximately 300 copies were made and they were all sold. The band continued to release recordings as often as they could and eventually they recorded a seven-song EP, which was never released due to financial problems. Have no fear, the band made sure that everyone would be able to hear this new material and released some of the songs as mp3s on the internet. These songs were rapidly downloaded from all over the world and allowed to Faster Than Eddie to gain a strong reputation in the music scene. The triumphant trio has had a very long and challenging road to gain the success that they have today. However, they have shown that they have the ability to keep crowds amazed. In 2001, they had the opportunity to play on the Vans Warped Tour with many great bands such as Rancid (Epitaph Records), Sum 41 (Island/Def Jam Records), The Ataris (Columbia Records) and many more major label bands. They are currently planning some major tours and getting signed onto a label. Their new full-length album which was recorded by Justin Koop (known for recording such acts as Finger 11 and Grade), was released in the spring of 2001 and has been selling hundreds of copies throughout the world. The Band: Nick Markovic, an experienced guitar player of many years, is the man behind many of the catchy lyrics and riffs that are heard in the band’s music. At age 20, Nick continues to rip @#%* up on his lean-mean-strumming machine. His influences include: The Specials, Goldfinger, Jawbreaker, Weezer, Screeching Weasel, Millcolin, Jimi Hendrix, Sublime, Green Day and many more! On the four-stringed electric bass in the corner, weighing at an electrifying 180lbs… ladies and gentlemen…Mr. Mike Fraculj. Mike’s punchy bass lines add a solid back groove to the band’s style. He is heavily influenced by ska and punk bands such as: Rancid, The Vandals, Goldfinger, Green Day, Operation Ivy, Bad Religion, Less Than Jake, Gob, NoFx, and the Suicide Machines. Finally banging on the pots and pans, there’s Mike Indovina (AKA Foo). Foo has been drumming ever since he was a toddler playing on his Mickey Mouse drum kit. As he grew older he realized three major things in his life: 1…it was time to get a new kit because none of the ladies would take him serious, 2… his love for music, and 3… It was time to join a band and try growing up in the enormous world of being a rockstar like many of his musical idols. His influences include pretty much every genre of the musical spectrum. His rockin’ backbeats provide Faster Than Eddie with the foundation of their rhythm section.
