Artist History Dicast is a five-piece rock band whose members ages range from 18 to 22. George (vocals) started a band called CastorPolics in September 1998 that somewhat resembled a mix between Pearl Jam and early Beatles.A month later, Matt Leatherman (drums) joined the effort to throw in influences from Carter Beauford to Dennis Chambers. Then, in November, George asked Corey (bass) to sell his guitars and pick up the bass to solidify the deep end.By this time the band was called Dimera, but we were only limited to playing a few house parties. In March 1999, shredder-influenced Adam Fishbane (guitar) was recruited to join the army along with punk (guitar)ist John Taylor to give Dicast our unique structure.
