Artist description Daniel-Hill-Daniel is the new and up coming super songwriters of the San Francisco Bay Area. They have written songs together as a team since May 97. They have written several songs, which include both national and international recognition. The songs are “Be My Wife” and “Nothin’s Easy” that were published in London, England. They wrote the “Mentor” song which is now the State of California “Mentor Appreciation Day” theme song. This “Mentor” song was adopted and chaptered by the Secretary of State on April 26, 2000, and also recently received a songwriter’s popular award from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). They also wrote the United States national Theme Song “Americorps” an organization created by both President Bill Clinton and the Corporation for National Service. These gifted songwriters also wrote an inspirational song entitled “Teachers”. Sammie Lee Hill, co-wrote a different song several years ago with Los Angeles songwriter Dean Andre, called “You’ll Always Be My Woman”. The song is now the theme song for a feature film entitled “THE EGG”, which was recently produced by CORE IMAGE PRODUCTION in Taiwan. This film was screened at the Mill Valley Film Festival on October 8, 2000. The film was also entered at the Germany Film Festival in September 2000, and won two awards at that event. The film is scheduled to be released on October 31, 2000 in Taiwan. Also, the film was nominated for an award and was sent to the International “CANNES FILM FESTIVAL” in Europe, May 2000. The San Francisco Bay Area Songwriters are Sammie Lee Hill (Lyricist) Tony Daniel (Composer) and Lee Daniel (Composer). The Personal Manager is John Morris. Also, all the songwriters are members of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).
