Artist History The band was formed in 1990 by singer and songwriter Tobi Simon. In 1992 blue haze won the German rock-competition and 1994 the south German talent-competition. In Lynchburg/Virginia the band ranked on position two at the local band jam 95. While touring the USA in autumn 95 the band recorded their first CD "koondarah's laugh". Two years later their second CD "return of the turnip" was released on "Brettklang Records". During the last few years blue haze presented their stunning live performance on more then 300 shows; also as support for Jethro Tull and German shooting stars Bananafishbones.

Additional Info VERY SAD NEWS: On September 7th 2001 we've lost our singer, bandleader and friend Tobias Simon. Tobias died from a thrombosis which lead to a heart attack.
