Artist History
Over a period of five years BEATS WORKING recorded legendary albums 'Putting It About' & 'Exaggerate'. Determined to keep on working and the bands love of writing/performing, they returned to the studio. ELECTROMAN was the result of many months hard work and Beats Working immediately decided to go out onto the road once again to promote their new album. It was decided after three studio albums to capture the LIVE sound of the band. LIVE AT THE DROME was recorded at West London Aero Club at White Waltham Aerodrome, UK. The live tracks captivates the bands musical style combining their power and sensitivity of playing. More gigging and writing has resulted in the bands best album to date - CALM. Beats Working are fast establishing themselves as one of the finest rock bands around, both inside and outside the studio. Beats Working were Malcolm Domes guests on RNN (Rock Radio Network) where CALM was the featured album of the evening along with a LIVE interview. Creating a real buzz from the Rock Media, appearing in magazines in the US, France, Italy, Germany and as far a field as Greece helped by Japanese FM Radio Rock DJ'S - Masa Itoh & Koh Sakai - ensuring that Beats Working are going to remain in the public eye for sometime to come. |

Press Reviews
"It's not often Britain produces a truly classy, mainstream rock band. But Beats Working definitely fall into this category.A combination of Dire Straits, Pink Floyd and Bad Company with addedtouches of Barclay James Harvest this foursome make it all sound sorelaxed and easy, as they groove their way through 12 stylishly melodicsongs that ooze maturity, yet avoid sounding contrived. One of the most impressive British rock albums in ages, 'Calm' isclassic rock in all senses of the term."MALCOLM DOME, Classic Rock Magazine |Isn't it strange how music can hit you?I normally shy away from the very polished, smooth, overproduced endof the melodic rock scene as most of it strikes me as damp and unsatisfying.Yet there is something about 'Calm'that really struck a chord with me, particularly the first two tracks. Even on my first listen to the album the effect was electrifying, with the classic guitar playing and super smooth vocals inducing a rare tingle-down-the-spine sensation. It took me by by surprise, I can tell you."MARK HOAKSEY, Power Play Magazine "This band is simply amazing! Just imagine a cross between Pink Floyd (overall sound) meeting very early 80's Rainbow with a guitar player who was obviously influenced by guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. Sound-wise it's more AOR with a little prog influence here and there - a completely unique sounding band. Highlights are only hard to mention whereas the songwriting on the album is completely astonishing."BIRGITT SCHWANKE, Metal and a Hard Rock Area |
