Artist History
Growing up in a musical family, Valerie entered Central Washington University with experience singing in choirs and musicals as well as playing piano and mallet percussion. She began voice lessons her freshman year and trained for a time as a mezzo-soprano before settling into soprano repertoire.The recordings on "Care Selve" are from her junior recital, recorded on April 14, 1985 and "Serenade" contains the material from her senior recital which was recorded on June 1, 1986. |
