    Artist History
Oh, there you are. My, I haven't seen anyone around here in ages. Wait a second there, young one; you're going to have to speak up. I'm getting a little old, and I'm afraid that the first things that go are the ears. Uh huh. Uh huh. Yes! Ah, so you came here looking for the story of Quiet Siege! How does it go? Oh yes! Once there was a boy. As is the case with most young men born in our sad age, our hero had been beaten down by the world. He was lonely, sad, disillusioned, and very, very afraid. To amuse himself, he would hide himself completely under his bed sheets with a flashlight and peak into the works of Joyce, Virgil, or any other gem that he had managed to lift that day from the local library. Sometimes he would walk as far as the sidewalk carried him, taking long looks at ghostly passerbys floating and laughing across pavement or finely trimmed lawns. And really, to him, were they anything more than ghosts passing, shades of real, human lives existing in a dimension that was not his own? One day, he paused as he was turning from page one hundred thirty six to one hundred thirty seven in his dictionary (somewhere between the words "fake" and "fate") he realized that he wanted to express all of the thoughts and feelings that he had experienced thus far in his tiny, sheltered world in song. Yes, like many young men his age, our hero was going to sing his life--although he could not sing. Thus, our hero journeyed far and wide for the members that would become Quiet Siege. First, our hero happened upon a friendly caveman named "Thwack." Although Thwack had devoted most of his life to spearing wooly mammoths and yelling "oogah," he could also play a mean electric bass. Second, our hero discovered a little girl named Mathilda, who was trapped in a block of ice. Although our hero tried hard to free Mathilda from her icy prison and he had a warm heart, he could only generate enough heat to free Mathilda's outstretched hands. Nevertheless, Mathilda found that she could play the keyboard quite well, and our hero was happy to invite her to play for Quiet Siege. Finally, our hero solidified the unit with a tribble on drums. The poor tribble had been starving to death waiting in an unemployment line close to our hero’s home--it’s a good thing that our hero found him in time! While the tribble lacked arms to play drum in the traditional sense, the tribble was a computer genius who could generate drum loops on his copy of fruity loops pro 3. So that's the story of Quiet Siege. Quiet Siege also released an album called “Missed” and is working on a new album tentatively titled “Erros.” So, you see, the Quiet Siege story is incomplete. But now, it's time for me to go to bed. I promise that I'll tell you more in the morning.

    Press Reviews
"Standard dance beats pulse in the background as a dense blanket of clean acoustic guitars and synthesizers waft overhead. Vocals melt deliciously into the synths, creating a warm layer of spritely pop to cover the cold rhythms." - Mark M. (Listen.com) "I was listening to it quite loud and that dance beat is probably waking up my whole hall if anyone was trying to sleep :)" - Dave Lawson (The Pop Project) "Fascinating, Brilliant!! Fascinating, did I say Fascinating, you know what I mean, Or DO you." - Simon, Street Cat
