Artist History
Chris Sour Sauer's previous band, Glim, opened for the late Jeff Buckley regularly, and as a solo singer/songwriter his dramatic New York debut was opening for Patti Smith at her now-infamous comeback shows at CBGB's in October 1997. Ron Gaswell Caswell's playing experience includes recording with They Might Be Giants and the Orchestra of St. Luke's, and playing with the Flying Karamazov Brothers, Max Roach, Anthony Braxton, New York City Opera, the Band of Weeds, on Broadway with "Our State Fair" and the American Composers Orchestra. Since October 1998 Janet Vodka has been plunging into the depths of the Lower East Side of New York City club scene, with regular appearances at the Sidewalk Bar and Restaurant, CBGB's Gallery, the Lions Den, the Luna Lounge, Baby Jupiter, Columbia University and the Mercury Lounge, along with Mother Earth's Café in Albany New York and the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto. |
