Artist description To all those reading this expecting a group made up of glamour boys with big hair and even bigger egos, I would suggest not reading any farther. I’m not saying that bands of this sort haven’t been a boost for the music business in the past, however, when the extreme becomes the norm, normalcy is the extreme. To all those who hope to find a group of musicians who are normal guys who just want to make the best music possible, I would like to introduce, Flyte. A five piece band with four singers that have lead vocal capability, makes for a very versatile vocal band that can express any idea that may bubble to the surface.

Artist History The band hails from St. Charles County, MO; at the crossroads of midwestern USA, and has been enjoying playing music created by others since 1986. Playing this long as a cover band has acted as underpainting through recreating a very diverse array of song stylings. Flyte today has called upon this same professionalism to create a truly original blend of traditional and more modern progressive music on thier debut cd, “Write On The Water”, With unerring ability to remember their roots, while proving the ability to grow is one of this bands many strong points. All in all, Flyte, consisting of five relatively normal guys, is anything but ordinary or boring!

Group Members Rich Tinsley’s rich, strong voice is heard as the primary lead vocalist as well as taking care of rythm and acoustic guitar backup. Scott Wiley’s lead guitar sound can go from sweet to scathing, while singing lead or backup vocals. Dave Ulrich is equally proficient at guitars, keys, or vocals and fills in the spot of ultimate utility man. Randy Emert continues to amaze as one the most influential bass guitarists around. Holding it all together with unwavering precision and lightning speed at all styles,while also being a strong vocalist, is percussionist Dave Vickery.
