Press Reviews
Kick ass! "To the sun" is perhaps one of the most commercially viable electronic rock songs (or any genre) that i've ever come across on mp3.com. Seriously, if you don't get an old fashioned record deal soon, i don't know who should. What makes it cool? First of all, great songwriting - really cool tune that sounds great by itself. Add great performance by all band members, brilliant vocals, wicked synth lines and overall cool production, and you've got the idea. DJ PALLE THE SUN POSITIVES: Great track that is very well produced. Nice instruments and a melody that really gets you. I especially like the shakuhachi-flute and the heavy beat. Good lyrics and great vocals. MOON IN THE MAN

Okay, where to begin. I didn't particular like the first track. The second track, "Life Within Herself", I really digged. I didn't think I was going to like it, and then when the bass came in with that really groovy, hynoptic bassline, I was sold. My only suggestion on that one is to try a remix where the guitars, really punch in the chorus. I know what you're saying, "if I wanted it to sound different, I would have mixed it differently the first time..." I don't know, it just sounded like it should have erupted more in the chorus, maybe some real drums with some crashes and all. Great tune though. Keep up the good work. THE BLOOMS
This band has a haunting style to it's vocals. I have listened to their music for the past few months, and it still sounds as exciting as the first day that I was pleasantly surprised. I love Take Away From Me. This is a dark, ominous Floyd sounding song. I also detect a bit of The Pumpkins, in their song, Ask For More. Today, a new song, To The Sun arrived. I'll have to give it some more listens, before giving an accurate review, but I think to say that it starts out Zeppy, is a good thing. All songs are well produced, and flawless. REDSHIFT |
