Artist History I have been performing on guitar and vocals and have been writing songs for over 30 years. Highlights of my career have been playing in bands that have included Chan Romero, the composer of "The Hippy Hippy Shake"; blues singer Hans Staymer; Kenny Shields of Streetheart; Ken (Spider) Sinnaeve also of Streetheart and presently with Tom Cochrane's band; and the band Crowcuss (recorded the album 'Starting To Show' on Stony Plain Records). While a resident of Prince Edward Island I was the grand prize co-winner of the 1988 CBC Maritimes Contemporary Songwriting Contest with the song "Right Now".

Additional Info I particularly enjoy improvising on the guitar in a blues/R&B band context and occasionally like to get a bit 'outside'. I also enjoy playing bass guitar and have played a bit of drums. As far as songwriting goes, I usually follow the muse wherever it may take me so my songs will vary greatly in style and genre and I like to produce my demos to how I hear the finished product in my head. I consider myself as more a musician than writer and would love to have any established artists cover my songs as would any songwriter. I welcome critiques of my songs. Email me!
