Artist History
The Tigers of ID were formed in 1995 by David Kordosh & John Kordosh. Stephen Peters is also on the first two CDs, and plays exceedingly well. Scott Mundy and Curt Piar (both of Katja's Dream, check out their MP3 site instantly or sooner) are on all three. David also plays guitar and sings in the band Jonesboro. John performed as John Amore in Detroit's much-loved Mutants in the late '70s and early '80s. |

Press Reviews
"Tigers of Instantaneous Death are a Southern Californian power trio with a jones for yok-rock, and even mock-rock, but one that is built on a solid songwriting base. British pop is in the eye of the Tigers." -- Billboard, June 8, 1996. "The Tigers are humorous but not bitter, literate but not scholarly, and work up a well of compassion without being pious. Of equal importance, the members write good songs and are proficient on their instruments. The Tigers have found both melodies and causes that will make them the envy of They Might Be Giants." -- Mike Lipton in the LA Weekly, June 1996 |
