Artist description
Not so much a band as a failed social experiment, the Love Gods blend their diverse musical influences (Alice Cooper, children's gymnastics, and Cheap Trick) into a toe tappin', ass scrachin' potpourri of polyphony. Enjoy and rock on, dude. |

Artist History
Started in 1990, the band orginally consisted of James, Porter, Andrew, and Jonny, with James playing somewhat erratic guitar. We soon added Andrew's brother, Steve (don't EVER have siblings in a band--just ask Ray Davies) on guitar and vocal and gigged and recorded for several years. Then everybody quit. Bastards. Currently on hiaitus due to Spinal Tappish luck with drummers, the 'Gods are James, Porter, and Tim. (aka Deacon, playing bass and looking sharp!) A number of new (and newish, and not new at all) tunes are being prepped for release to an eager world. So get eager world! |
