Artist description written by: Theodore Fedora aka Teddy the Hat This unigue post punk/emo-core bass and drum band is composed of Geoff (drums) and Rich (bass) Trawick, two brothers who are veterans of the all ages punk rock scene. Geoff and Rich have been playing all ages punk shows in Calgary and Victoria for the past eight years, together and seperately, in various different bands. Througout it all all they have always jammed together on a regular basis and written improvisation based songs to f*ck around with. The problem with it was this: they never met any guitarists who could accurately follow their unique instrumentation and musical vision. So, they decided to write fully structured songs and set out to conquer the hardcore world on their own as The Kremlin . The Kremlin has been playing shows since February of '99 and already commanded the attention and respect of theur audience. Both members shows a remarkable stage presence which comes from years of experience and results in The Kremlin having an excellent live shows. Many people say that the recordings don't do the band justice; on a recording you can't seen Rich kick a guitar while playing bass and singing or the ever-changing use of audio samples and visual atmosphere used to enhance their shows. Their songs are powerful and emotive, sweeping from delicate melodies to crashing turmoil with screamy vocals and poetic lyrics. The Kremlin is full of mood and tigher than the genes they share.
