Artist History DONALD GARDINER:Graduated at the top of his high school class [but managed not to get arested for it]/President Glee Club, National teen age porn King [award now lost] /wrestling 1,2,4/voted most likely to eat fried chicken [or abuse it - he forgets], created micro brewery in the men's room [really he SAID it was beer!]. 1st band: THE CHICKEN PIGS AGE 7 "The 1st incarnation was me and a sea clam, when the sea clam lost its voice, I ate the it and hired a killer whale that a mussel I knew had recommended; when the whale tried to eat me, I put a starfish on drums and fired the whale. Without the whale, the band just didn't work". College: University of Alternative & Advanced Bowel Techniques / Post College: 3 years in Amsterdam staring at floors then 4 years US Air Force [1st band THE YOUNG CHRISTIANS]; 2nd band: THE FRUSTARATIONS from Providence R.I.; 3rd band THE PRESS from NY City [ska/punk]; 4th band moved to Boston and joined with Barry Edwards in LEFT NUT where they found fame, fortune and a few girls [Rumble, many records, big in GDR etc]. Currently performing in 10 STAR GENERAL with Barry Edwards [as well as making LEFT NUT appearances] BARRY EDWARDS: Born in Newcastle England and deported on birth to the U.S., Barry was lost in the woods and raised on Lake Eirie by wolves until his parents found him and made him go home to Dunkirk NY to clean his room. Barry learned guitar as a pre-teen and was performing publicaly and at school functions by the age of 15. At 15, Barry discovered that you could get more beer in clubs than at church functions and his 1st professional [music] gig was at a club called "The Ranch Life" where the patrons revelled in drinking and wrestling in broken bottles. He survived. After consuming all of the free beer in Chautaqua County NY, Barry joined a fusiuon band which eventually arrived in L.A. where he roomed with old friend Chris Poland [Mega Deth]. Later Barry moved to Boston where he played in the pre-BENTMEN band THE REPLICANT RUBBERS, LOU MIAMI AND THE COSMETICS and with John Surrett in THE DINEROS. Barry then discovered that LEFT NUT had more beer and girls so he joined Donald Gardiner and LEFT NUT; that collaberation continues in 10 STAR GENERAL. CRAIG SPALTER: Craig is a veteran of various Boston underground bands ncluding THE EELS, FIREBALL 500, THE DEBONAIRES, POUND and 70 SEX. Craig also plays bass for the noe-30's act SEA BISCUIT when not performing for 10 STAR GENERAL. CHRISTIAN NEGRET: Christian has played with countless punk bands including: HIGH SPEED VOMIT, THE EELS and THE SPORES. Those who have escaped have described Christian's playing as juvenile, mean spirited, hedonistic, splat, or like a bad week-end in [name your own favorite place]. According to Chris, cheap beer and negativity leads to a plodding paint peeler of a beat that is as loud as fuck. The rest of the band thinks that he's just pissed off because he can't get a date.
