Artist description Dirt started out about 7 years ago as a hip-hop artist from the streets of San Diego. Within that seven years he has forged a new breed of hip-hop in the Christian market, etching out a style of hip-hop that deals with serious and heartfelt issues, but ma intaining street-level credibility. Dirt as an artist is dedicated to being as unique and creative in his approach to music and ministry. Dirt has gone on 3 nation wide tours with Atlantic Recording Artist P.O.D., 4 nation wide tours on his own (playing with a huge number of Christian acts), and opened up for secular acts like Cypress Hill, KRS-One, and Jeru The Damaja.

Artist History Dirt grew up like most emcees. Povertized and oppressed, but finding power and strength through his culture of music. He began to hone his talent back in '94 when people were really beginning to cling to his musical efforts. In 97-99 he toured extensively with POD as an opening act and quickly gained a large underground fanbase. His first album 'PLAGUE' released to the crowds with great praise. 2 years later he followed up with another album, 'A WAR TO RESTORE' with even more steam. From one album to anot her, his ways with music have definitely developed strongly. He has also been featured on many prominent artists albums (the most famous on POD's 'BROWN' album). Group Members Dirt is the founding father of a crew called 'Shadow of the Locust'.
