Artist History
Momma Shanks formed in the fall of 1997, writing and performing the music that would become "WhatAm I?". Recording and producution of the band's debut CD continued until it's independent release in 1999. The band has continued to perform in support of the CD around central Virginia and radio play has taken Momma Shanks to listeners in Colorado and Ohio. Internet broadcasts on CD101.com (broadcasting from Columbus, Ohio) has developed listener support in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, England, Peru and Japan. |
