Artist description Housequake rose from the prolific Tempe, AZ Music scene of the late 80's but unlike the jangle bands of the era Housequake focused on danceable funky rock. A very popular club act, Housequake was voted "Best Funk Band" by New Times Newspaper.

Artist History Housequake formed in 1988 from former members of several influential Phoenix area bands. The band became a very popular club act, playing sold-out shows at the legendary Sun Club in Tempe AZ. The collection of songs on MP3.com represent the best recordings made during the bands heyday.
