Artist description Hotter Than Karl is a four member rock band in the Madison, Wisconsin area consisting of guitarist/bassist Brian Bentzler, drummer Rob Jolin, lead vocalist Wade Otis and guitarist/bassist Charles Thomas. Musically diverse and unpredictable, Hotter Than Karl's melodic, accessible, original music combines the alternative and hard-rock genres with funk, pop, acoustic, blues, and guitar-rock influences. With four members who have been lead singers in previous bands, the HTK sound also has a heavy emphasis on vocal harmony. The band is currently in pre-production for a CD which will be recorded in the Summer of 2000. Patrons of MP3.COM will have early access to these songs as they become available.
