Artist description
A fresh and unique sound; High profile blends pop vocals, surrounding matters of the heart with fascinating jazzy chordal accompaniment and driving funky rhythms. Phat guitars, lush keyboards, explosive stabbing horns, and heavy grooves provide the canvas for super clean soulful vocals rich in harmony and texture. |

Artist History
A new band for the new millenium. Hailing from Seattle, WA, singer/songwriter/guitarist Peter M. Hopkins formed High Profile in the winter of 1999. Their first major performance was in June 2000 at the legendary Rainbow in Seattle, a venue once shared by the late, great Jimi Hendrix, among others. Since that time, High Profile has continued to perform on a regular basis in the Seattle area, has made two EP recordings, and is currently celebrating the release of their third EP. Their reputation continues to grow, as does their success. High Profile will soon be stretching out towards other regions to carry their music to new markets. |
