Artist description
Defying most heavy stereo-types, CrowneVict often enjoy confusing the listener with their unexpected break-downs, and repelling the norm with their with their tasty blend of post-hardcore influenced, hip-hop, emo, aggro sound which seems comparable at times to a movie receiving an NC-17 rating... except there's less nudity and more noise. |

Artist History
Founded by a Boston-based trio - John Helmig (guitar) and John Becht (drums), both formerly of national recording artists Everdown, and David Ball (guitar) of local recording artists Big John Studd - the band had been blasting it's tasty blend of post-hardcore influenced, hip-hop, emo, aggro sound, waiting for the rest of the pieces to come together. Well, at least that was the plan until their equipment was stolen. But, with a powerful display of 2 years of persistence, they pulled through and rebuilt, adding this time, the influences of bass player Brian Sylvia, and, soon after, of local singer Christopher Greene. Since then, they've been pushing their melodies like some heroin dealer in a Quentin Tarentino flick, trying to expand their fan-base out into the Boston area, while still managing to get some studio time cutting tracks. |
