Artist History Bernie has been playing guitar since 1960 and has performed with a number of bands over the years. In 1965 he played guitar and bass with Group 9. A Virginia Beach based rock band which predated the Jefferson Airplane and had the same pioneering quintessential sound. The recordings from Group 9 are presently being restored from vinyl and will be available at this site soon. These recordings represent a collection of tunes written by Bernie and recorded over a number of years.
