Artist History
Origianlly formed in 1992 on the campus of the University of Wisconsin Oshoksh. After 3 years and 2 independant releases, we were included on a compilation CD put out by R.E.X. Music called DEMOLITION II.Our song 'World Gone Black' went #1 in numerous mid-western christain rock stations. With the attention of Radio now and a few recomendations we persued Rugged Records for a possible recoding contract. After many follow ups/faxes/and calls...Rugged president Michael Betts flew from CA to little Oshkosh, WI to sign Reflescent Tide. From there everything's history. We recorded our first self-titled album for Rugged in '95 in Torrance, CA which got great reviews from magazines like HM and others. As well as good radios success with 3-4 songs entering the top 10 rock charts. Our sophmore effort, "Spring Catalog", made a short debut but never really saw the light of day due to industry shake up and distributors loosing 10,000 copies of what might have been the best christian rock album to date.In the fall of '97, Reflescent Tide decided to call it quits and concentrate on our new families and new endeavors.Fear not...(no not that lame band) you will see some type of 'catalog' released right hear, real soon! |
