Artist History
Mo-Sys began in November of 1999 when I began to feelan individual style forming apart from my crew The Ninja Breakbeat Posse. The name is pronounced "Moses" and it was created by my friend Sleepy Dave when I was leading a caravan of lost people to the place they needed to go. |

Press Reviews
Went in the back room to listen to Mo-Sys tear it up with Live PA - 2 Yamahas and a turntable ... DAMN! That's about all I can say ... it left me speechless - DAMN! ...got the oppurtunity to be moved into 2nd room to hear Mo-Sys rip up theLive PA DnB...I enjoyed that immensely...I need to get one of my ownRMX-1's-phat ass sequencer...I wish I'd had a camera to capture thelooks of "uh...he's not on turntables--what's he doing?" from variouskidz in the room...but it appeared everyone enjoyed it...Raw42 on Cosmic Voyage "cosmic voyage is a lot more "electronic" sounding, with light pads and simplistic sub bassline. the beats here are rolling very smoothly, a real "live drummer" feel to this one and if these are programmed, then hats off to the skills right here! the whole track has quite a "commercial" feel to it. apart from the beats, it's definitely the type of track that would grow on a listener. there's no real "high impact" sounds apart from the beats and it's a very smooth and gentle affair with straight up synth line leads played and mixed very nicely. all the different elements of the track just seem to drop "nicely" into each other (if you understand what i mean!) if a comparison is to be made, then this would definitely fit along side any track currently being made by omni trio. any fans of his last album would appreciate this remix." |
