Equally at home in the concert hall or smaller, private settings, he is available for bookings for solo performances or for ensemble performances in the Mississippi Guitar Quartet featured on the Mississippi Arts Commission Touring Artist and Education Roster. Artist History
A native of Tupelo, Mississippi, Michael is a candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Guitar Performance at the University of Southern Mississippi under the tutelage of Professor Giovanni DeChiaro. He has received numerous awards at state and regional festivals, which has allowed him the opportunity to study with many renowned artist. Michael is currently Professor of Guitar at Jones Junior College in Ellisville, Mississippi. |

As a performer with the Mississippi Guitar Quartet, whose debut release is available from Centaur Records, he works closely with the other members which are: John DeChiaro, professor at the University of Southern Mississippi, Steve Kennedy and Chas Evans, professor at Holmes Community College and Mississippi College. |
