Artist description Matt's signature trademark running throughout all his writing is his emphasis on melody. From his layering of both bold and sweet-sounding guitars to his passionate lead vocals and bright harmonies, the results are songs where all musical elements blend together, yet are showcased individually as well. Matt's lyrics are a direct reflection of his introspective and self-examining nature. He presents them, however, in a straight-ahead, "every-day-kind-of" way, thus connecting with people from all walks of life and experience.

Artist History "It sounds kinda funny, but this whole project came out of that feeling of hitting a wall and not really knowing what else to do!", says this native Los Angeles singer. With training early on in theory, voice, and even acting, Matt's true inclination and passion has always been towards self-expression through music. The path to getting to do that,however, was not always clear -and, more often- paved through trial and error. Not so classic-classic story: young burned-out LA artist drives to Chicago to rebel against "So. Cal" life and family----go find himself/have fun.----After three years of relying on public transportation, freezing his ass off, and "last calls" at 4am, Matt returned to LA creatively inspired and with an edge he had never felt before. Having always shyed away from "going solo", he weaved his way through the LA music scene to find the ideal project with which he could align his talents and utilize his experiences. Disillusionment, however, soon set in,-and so shyness took a back seat. "It got to the point where I just got so tired of auditioning for these bands and being handed all this really boring stuff to sing", says Matt, "that I finally just said - 'OK- that's it!- I'm just gonna start writing my own stuff!'".....And so that's just what he did.
