Artist description *Organic-Ambient-Trance-Funk* Lotus explores musical landscapes through their multi-layered, groove oriented sounds. Instrumental group improvisations, which grow out of refined compositions, are a trademark of Lotus concerts. Influenced by funk, jazz, electronic, and ambient music, Lotus has developed a unique musical style. These talented young musicians are constantly growing and evolving into new creative musical territories. Live music lovers - Lotus is a "must see." Since Lotus' formation in 1999 the band has been steadily growing. Tours throughout the Midwest and as far as Virginia and Colorado, along with web promotion, word of mouth and live tape trading, have resulted in a loyal and growing group of fans. Lotus has been featured on web sites such as Jambase.com, Riffage.com, Juno.com; and a variety of specialty radio programs, newspapers and magazines. Lotus is currently working on their debut studio album.
