Artist description We're trying to be sparse like Gang of Four, but it's not coming out that way. We basically end up sounding like a progressive hardcore band.

Artist History Dave and Sam started playing together with Sam on drums and Dave on bass. It was fun. However, it was clear that finding a guitar player who was up to snuff for the style would be difficult, and Sam wasn't that great of a drummer to begin with - so Sam took up guitar. Colin played drums at first, then James. At the time of these records, we'd been playing together as a band for about two months.
