Artist History
After discouraging experiences in other bands, songwriter/guitarist Ken Heim and bassist Keith Shapiro, began practicing and writing music together. After a short search, they found drummer John Crocco. The trio's similar musical influences and common desire to generate catchy original rock made them an instant team. After one practice CinemaStar was formed. Gallery is the band's first recording and demo. After they built a strong local following, the band decided to add guitarist and identical twin of Kenny: Randy Heim. They continued to play shows as a four piece and recorded a 4 song EP entitled "Widescreen E.P.". The track "Clone" off the EP won a runner up award in the 2001 John Lennon Song Writing Contest. The band is currently finishing up a full-length album and are looking to sign to a record label. |
