Artist History
Bob Orr began piano studies at the age of six in Endicott, New York. Awarded a music scholarship to the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, he concentrated on piano performance at the college and received a Bachelor of Science in Music Education in 1976.Mr. Orr started composing songs for the piano while in high school and over the years has continued to cultivate his craft. His musical career has included more than just song composition. He has managed artists as head of RJO Enterprises and represented arts organizations including the Albany Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, Tri-Cities Opera Company--Binghamton, NY and Point Park College--Pittsburgh, PA.Highlights of Mr. Orr's music career as a singer include performances with the Choral Arts society of Washington, Paris Opera Chorus, and the Cathedral Choral Society in concert with the Dave Brubeck quartet. |
