Artist History
Formed in 1995 by Lisa Novak and Vince Martin, Big Holiday has grown into a progressive, critically acclaimed Houston band. They were voted into the top 20 best unsigned bands in the nation by industry professionals in the 1996 TicketMaster showcase. Big Holiday was a semi-finalist in Musician Magazine's Best Unsigned Band Contest in 1996 and 1997. The band was nominated by the Houston Press for the Best Pop/Rock band in 1996. Recently, Big Holiday was selected as a semi-finalist in Mars Music's 1999 Quit your Day Job contest. |
