Artist description The Lee Family is a group of people making music and art. The line up changes, and we don't all live in the same city. We just seem to enjoy each other's ideas, and combining them.

Artist History The Lee Family was first called The Lee Family Curse. We dropped the curse due to some line up changes and because we thought it sounded a bit negative. We started out in 1996(?) at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN. The original line up included Adam, Josh, Corwin, and Brian. We took it pretty seriously for a long time, and wanted to make a living doing it. Some of us still do, but in general it is now a hobby and we just enjoy making music. We graduated from college, realizing we needed to go on to other things. Music is a very self indulgent act, and some of us decided we needed to get jobs where we could try to do something for someone else. I suppose that means we started to become adults. Can I say that without insulting anyone? Corwin moved back to the East coast, and now lives in Providence, RI where he is making furniture for a living. He is very good at it too. Adam lives in New York where he is studying to become a doctor. I am Josh, and I teach high school ceramics and photography. Kieran lives in Minneapolis and works at the U. Brian still lives in ST. Paul and continues to make music with a band called Triangle. Joe lives in Fertile, MN, and works at his family's nursery, Tiffany lives in Minneapolis and works at a bar.
