Artist description
With potent lyrics in the foreground, Sal Liberto plays and sings like a man who means it. His ear-catching piano riffs are influenced by the likes of Geroge Winston and Elton John and seasoned by Liberto's own keen sense of drama, emotion, and amusement. A musician's musician, his range is impressive, easily traversing the song writing spectrum from love ballads to new age interludes, from soft rock to jazz. |

Artist History
Sal Liberto has been recording and performing music for ten years. He was raised in New Orleans, but his largest musical influences are not jazz or blues, but rather 70's pop and new age piano. Sal began playing music publically while attending college in Boston. By his senior year he was playing packed concert halls and opening for folk legend Livingston Taylor. Sal has performed at coffee houses in New Orleans and Boston where he maintains a steady following of fans who are no doubt drawn to the richness of his melodies and depth of his lyrics. |

Press Reviews
Livingston Taylor has called Sal Liberto "a nightmarish act to follow" and a musician "in the top one percent of acts ever to open for" him. Producer Zeke Tombar applauds Sal's incredible range as an artist. He writes, "One minute he is grimacing as if festooned by dancing girls, the next he is in deep melodic introspection." |
