    Press Reviews
"With a sensibility that transcends several generations of rock aesthetic, the Vancouver quintet O&V pours dreamy, slo-core guitar showers over psychedelic drumming, while Cindy Tomlinson rides these silvery waves with an assertive delivery." - Robert L. Doerschuk, StarPolish, former editor-in-chief of Musician magazine . . . . . . . . "A unique and breathtaking blend of vintage psychedelia, folk ballads, and stirring indie-rock... Cindy's voice is deep, resonant, and unmistakably solid in its delivery." ~ StarVox . . . . . . . . "I clicked and walked into the psychedelic world of Orchards & Vines... an original and powerful sound that takes your mind to other worlds... Great lyrics, excellent vocals and good arrangements make Orchards & Vines a band that is radio-ready." ~ Patrick Ferris, HotBands.com Pick of the Week . . . . . . . . "Powerful, soaring and psychedelic... Taking everyone by surprise, this Vancouver band takes candy-colored doses of hazy '60s psychedelia... Their songs either unfold marvelously on your mind or strap it onto a rocketship aiming to the sun." ~ Alejandro Alaluf, DreamPop Links Best of 2000 . . . . . . . . "This album inspired in me everything that is important about music. Brilliant instrumentals and beautiful lyrics, the sound of Orchards and Vines flows through the soul. Rich, haunting, emotional, and poetic with an important edge, Tomorrow's Yesterday may very well be a permanent resident in my CD player." ~ ThurstonX, Upside Down Radio . . . . . . . . "O&V's lead vocalist, Cindy Tomlinson puts her lyrics to work, using vivid imagery to heighten the themes within each song and polish off the overall surreal quality inherent in each. The stylings resemble a modern day duet between Grace Slick and Enya, using a flying chant to travel through musical psychedelics, hinting at the past and forecasting the future... The songs possess an integrity that would seem to withstand time and exhibit proficiency toward composure that immediately sets the band apart from the rest." ~ Gardiner Rhoderick, Audiogalaxy.com
