Artist History Mike Woodard Has been workin' it ever since this folk-fed soul searcher could talk. A Colorado raised world traveler whose music is directly influenced by life, love, and time, totes an organic sound surrounded by raw emotion and humorous metaphor to the ear of the next generation. Wether speakin' for the people with "Transcendentalist" or showing a flare for the blues&funk with "Court", his honest lyrics and solid acoustic playing are driving him into the new millenium, spoon feeding listeners with sweet sounds of simplicity. In 1997 He joined forces with the Hippy Freedom Fighters and self-released his debut CD titled Workin' It. Mike's second CD titled Straight Up, an all acoustic 15 song epic, released march 2000. In the fall of 2001 Mike recorded another studio album "Street Sounds". In Janurary 2002 Mike formed the Mike Woodard Brand, a power trio with drums, bass, and guitar and currently are rehearsing for another upcoming studioalbum
