Artist History Freddie was born in Austin, Texas and grew up in the small Texas town of Lometa. Touring the surrounding areas with his first band allowed him to develop as a performing artist. He also performed in venues at the Fort Worth Stockyards, perfecting his songwriting craft and stage show before relocating to the Los Angeles area. While in L.A. he played at the legendary Palomino club, was a regular at the D.J. Ranch and J.R.'s, and was a featured artist on the Paul Bowman weekly radio show at Ribs, Etc. Currently in Nashville, Freddie continues songwriting and recording solo projects for his record label Wheatfield Records, as well as showcasing his original material.
