    Artist History
David's first EP album "A Fit of Rage" was released on vinyl only in the late 80's. Distributed nationally by Important Records, it sold very well in Japan and Europe. Years later the album was remixed, remastered, one song dropped and two new songs added, then released on a CD called "A Fit of Rage(remix plus two)" and is once again gaining popularity nationally. The music on this CD has been compared to Iron Maiden/Black Sabbath style. The lyrics of this album being very negative and political. Such as the song "Enforcer" which is about police of the future abusing their power. The song "False Reality" was written when David was working in a steel stamping plant. Anyone that has worked in a factory could relate to these lyrics in one way or another. The song "Metal Rules" has to do with his dislike for top 40 music. As well as the repetition of what is played on commercial Radio. David's second album is a full length LP called "Malefic Influence." Released on cassette and vinyl, it too was distributed by Important Records for a short time nationally. Due to the small amount of vinyl pressed and distributed, these vinyl albums have been seen selling for $50.00 to $100.00 dollars a copy in record stores and show's all over the world.. Now this album is also remastered to CD and is getting alot of well deserved attention. Performing more keyboard tracks such as the Hammond organ, this album has been said to have a Deep Purple/Yngwie Malmsteen feel to it. Three of the songs on this release were actually written before the A Fit of Rage album. Such as track two, "Governmental Brainwash". Another political song about corrupt government. ZRock (WDZR) in Detroit had given him major airplay and later released "Governmental Brainwash" on a compilation CD called "ZRock Best of Detroit stuff Volume 1". Track 5, " Picking up the Pieces" is about animal rights and developer's stripping the land for subdivisions, strip mall's and condo's forcing the animals out. Track 3,"Crazy Dream" was written when he was only 17 about a girl that moved from California to his neighborhood. " Track 8, "A Matter of Time" has been charting very high on Music Monster Radio Network. (no. 1 as of 5/1/2000) as well as getting airplay on WRIF 101.1 homegrown show in Detroit. Many tracks from this CD have been getting continuous airplay from indiemusic.com, m4radio.com, electric basement.com, amp11.com and many other net stations. Most of David's third album "Thorough Scrutiny" was written and recorded a year after the release of the Malefic Influence album but not released at that time. David has recently re-recorded, added and touched up some of the tracks. It has finally been released and is now available on CD. This CD is much longer then his previous releases with kind of a Frank Zappa approach to the production. Songs such as "Queen of the Skyways" which is about the crash of the Hindenburg in the late 30's. "First Reaction" is another track that was written about police abusing their power. This CD also includes two remake's. "Follow Me" written by the late blues guitarist Rory Gallagher, and a very cool live version of the song "Snortin Whiskey" by Pat Travers. Anyone that liked David's earlier releases at all will love this CD. Today David is working on a brand new CD where he is once again taking on the job of most instruments and production including drums on some tracks. Long time friend and drummer Jeff Giovannangeli will also be performing most of the drum tracks. The lyrics to this Cd will be based on today's world such as road rage, politics, lifers and yuppies, high gas prices, kids packing guns in school, animal rights and inconsideration of people. As the project progresses, it is getting more interesting all the time. Once again plenty of Hammond organ, ripping guitar riffs and quality vocals. There will also be some acoustic and electric guitar instrumentals as well. David plans to tour Europe and Southern US next year after the release of this new CD.
