Artist History Founded in 1997, the group achieved its biggest success so far in 1999, selected as one of the top 10 finalists of a talent show by BMG Records.

Group Members The group consists of Andy Becker (vocals, lyrics) and Jens Backes (music). Cosmopop currently works with Shamira, 20. All songs are produced by Cosmopop and Martin Altmeyer, except for our October-2000-release "supersonic love" which was produced in co-operation with Niko Esche at Audiovision Studios, Berlin. Other female singers in the past include Conny Angel (on "oh la la!" and "desperados") and Kirsten Brandt (on "set me free"). Dance-music simply gives us a great time.
