    Artist History
Apell was created as a result of Anthony becoming tired of the endless rehearsals & problems that seem to plague many new unknown bands. I dont have to wait for myself to turn up to start to work!

    Press Reviews
I certainly found it interesting and most of the musicianship very accomplished, between you and your friends there seems to be quite a bit of talent there! Chris Holder - Audio Technology Magazine, Australia. The heavy metal / ambient mix is certainly original - Andrew Hollo - 3RRR FM Melbourne. It's quite nuts!.....yay - Sam & Tad - 3RRR FM Melbourne. I think that Interest Free is an outstanding track (available on DAM CD)- Owen McKern 3RRR FM Melbourne "Apell is the debut release from the MULTI-TALENTED Melbourne musician Anthony Pell. The disc combines elements of funk, jazz, and rock into BIZZARE ELECTRONIC BASED MUSIC. Impressively, Pell plays all the instruments on the recording. Which included drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, vocals, saxophone and percussion. The vocals range from distorted voices to weird sound bytes. Similar to many ECCENTRICS, Pell has lots of fresh ideas, but sometimes loses focus. APELL DISPLAYS HOW AN ARTIST CAN CREATIVELY CROSS OVER INTO MADNESS, BUT WHEN IT ALL COMES TOGETHER FORMS ENJOYABLE MUSIC.” Jeff Lease THE BUZZ magazine
