Press Reviews
"Formed in 1997 in Los Angeles after the demise of The Bogus Toms, Uncle Tom's indie debut will get any lover of sarcastic pop and punk to plop down their hard-earned dough for this album"...ALTER NATIVE. ". The vocals are hip, in
the snotty, whiney Johnny Rotten vein. These are backed with well-written
catchy pop songs, just begging to be on college radio"...EARPOLLUTION MAGAZINE. "They are almost punk, but not the unlikable sort. You will say 'yeah,
man!!' and put the volume up to max and get the police over to
complain about the noise"...BEATSE-ZINE. "If you're just a fan of good, original, well played and down on life music with a Rockin' edge then get off your arse now and buy Uncle Tom!!...KONTROL MAGAZINE. "One of the great sins many bands commit is to deem themselves so musically relevant that they take themselves way too seriously. The ability to laugh at themselves is part of what makes bands like The Ramones and Kiss so endearing, and it's also a quality that makes this new CD from Uncle Tom so damn refreshing"...INDIE JOURNAL.
